This page gives you the opportunity to view photos of everyday people. Many of these were found on the Internet. Credit is given if the source is known.
One of the nice things about viewing everyday people is to see the variety of those who wear thumb rings. They truly come from all walks of life. Although primarily worn by younger women, they are also worn by men and older people. Another nice thing about viewing other's photos is to see the variety of rings worn. Everything from simple thin bands that are barely noticeable all the way up to very flashy and showy rings can be seen. Perhaps this will help you to decide on the look for yourself. HotOrNot.com 
The HotOrNot website is a wonderfully entertaining place on the Internet. It can become very addictive, so be prepared to spend some time exploring.
The two main activities on the website is rating other people's photos and meeting other like minded people. The first activity, rating other's photos, is quite easy to do. You are presented with the picture of a person. Click on 1 if you think the person looks like a complete dud or on 10 if you think that person is a hottie. You can also click on any number in between. Your reward is to see how your rating of that person compares with what others thought. To attempt to meet someone, you must first register. Registration is free unless you want the ability to be the first person to email someone who would like to meet you. To register, you send in your picture, along with a brief description of yourself, to the website. After the moderators okay your picture and description, you can attempt to meet anyone else who has also registered. iStockPhoto is a great place I stumbled across while developing my online jewelry store, Rings-4-U. What brought me to iStockPhoto was a need to have pictures of models wearing jewelry similar to what Rings-4-U sells. What keeps me at iStockPhoto are the great photographs!
Supplied by professional and advanced amateurs, iStockPhoto houses hundreds of thousands of great photographs. You can spend weeks browsing the collection of thumbnail images. If you really like a picture, they are also available for sale in a large range of sizes. The prices are literally a tiny fraction of the price of other stock photography venues. For the Rings-4-U site, I was able to purchase photos for $1 to $2 that cost me $79 at other sites. Needless to say, once I discovered them I have never turned back. Here is a page of the photos I personally purchased to use for the Rings-4-U store. Many of the pictures have models wearing thumb rings.
